df47 |aMy dear Mr Gezelle Bernard's Godmother died on the 30th at Louvain It will be an immense loss both <-[xx]> to Mr Siret and his children, I hope that you will pray for her. She suffered terribly for several months poor creature. I only saw her once, but Mr Weale knew her intimately, and liked her very much. Poor Mrs Thompson has been at death's door since I saw you She was administered the day after Iwas at Courtrai, and on the 29th they thought that she had not an hour to live. Father Van Derker even read the prayers for the dying, but she has rallied a little though I fear that she has not long to live. Mr Weale and Frank are coming over on Saturday. I think it very likely that Frank will go to Tournay on Thursday next, and if so, he will give you a flying visit just as I did; I was in plenty of time at the station though I thought I had lost my train. I am so sorry that I was not able to see Florence, but I hope to be more fortunate later. I found Ethel blooming and the nuns expressed themselves contented with her, and they complimented her on her music after she had passed her yearly examination. I am very pleased as I am as fond of music as ever. I always make Frank play a good deal for me when he is at home. I must now say goodbye and begging you to pray for us all I remain yours very sincerely Helena. A. Weale
